Moreno Valley is a city that is filled with parks that contain swings, slides, and other play equipment to keep the kids busy, as well as a variety of bike trails, and horse trails.
Moreno Valley has three golf courses, which include the 27-hole Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Club, ranked among one of the top 75 public courses in the entire United States. Moreno Valley is also home to the 8,000-acre Lake Perris State Park. This park has boating, fishing, and camping facilities. Box Springs Mountain Park provides trails for hiking and horseback riding as well.
Moreno Valley's city park system has over 32 parks and/or joint-use facilities. These facilities include a 9-hole executive golf course, and public tennis courts.
Moreno Valley also has many organized sports programs for both children and adults. Some of the sport club activities that are available are soccer, golf, softball, baseball, basketball, football, roller hockey, swimming, track, and pony baseball.
